We are currently seeking an experienced senior level Systems Engineer to join our client’s research operations based in Sydney, AUSTRALIA. This is a pivotal role in the product development team working at the cutting edge of next generation technologies.

Working at the forefront of technology development the Senior Systems Engineer will lead new product developments from a systems engineering perspective. This will include making system level design decisions, verification planning, solutions architecture, troubleshooting and developing system requirements and specifications that meet corporate quality and industry regulatory standards.

The core focus of the Senior Systems Architect will be to assist in ensuring new products are delivered on time and to a high quality. As the project’s technical and process expert you will supervise the work of systems engineers within team and support their development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering/Science in Electrical/Electronic/Software/Systems Engineering plus minimum 5 years systems engineering/architecture experience – ideally within high-tech electronics/medical device or defence systems environments.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in systems engineering for electronic devices, with excellent understanding of systems engineering principles.
• Significant experience in engineering design and verification
• Understanding of technical architecture and multiple Engineering disciplines
• Demonstrated ability to lead/supervise cross functional engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills – written, presentation and verbal

Remuneration: Salary: $100k base plus Pension and excellent benefits and conditions of work. Visa Sponsorship for Australia will provided as necessary for the successful applicant.
