Working with a world leader in the research, development and distribution of innovative medical technologies for the global marketplace the Hospital Sales Specialist will be tasked with managing and achieving sales budget for our client’s range of hospital products within the assigned territory.

Based in Sydney, the Hospital Sales Specialist will be responsible for;

  • Identifying and developing opportunities for sales within the territory and development market opportunities outside traditional markets where possible.
  • Achieving sales of entire hospital product range within the assigned territory.
  • Initiate and deliver training on hospital product range for staff at hospitals within the territory, including product demonstrations.
  • Promote Hospital product range to ICU, Emergency, Respiratory  & and other appropriate units within the territory.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs within the territory
  • Follow up any government business and seek applications for any new tenders, (hospital, regional, state or federal).
  • Attend special interest group meetings and conferences as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Nurse / Physiotherapist or similar with experience in ICU or Emergency, plus 3-5 years proven track record in sales achievement, ideally within medical devices or pharmaceuticals – preferably with respiratory medicines/devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and build rapport with new and existing customers, medical professionals and physicians.
  • Flexibility to travel extensively across NSW, VIC and QLD, and occasionally nationwide as required.
  • Ideally, candidates will have postgraduate qualifications in a business discipline.

Remuneration:

$ Excellent + FMCV and outstanding bonus commission structure.
